Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Bakersfield, CA to lead a team and manage daily warehouse operations. You will supervise inbound receiving, storage, and outbound shipping while ensuring accuracy, safety, and inventory integrity.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory warehouse experience, OSHA/DOT knowledge, and a valid DOT Medical card. Competitive benefits and a schedule from 7am to 5pm, Monday–Friday are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Valid DOT Medical card and a valid state-issued license; must be 21+.
• Material Handling Equipment Certification; familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Strong judgment, decision-making, leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop warehouse associates.
• Oversee unloading, stocking, picking and shipping, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain efficient, clean, and orderly warehouse space.
• Ensure inventory integrity and perform cycle counts.
• Maintain warehouse and equipment safety; report incidents.
• Back-up driver duties as needed.

Position Details Reports to Branch Manager Direct oversight of 3 associates

• Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associates
• Supervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
• Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly
• Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed
• Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management
• May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities.

• A strong background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required
• 3-5 years of Industrial warehouse management or supervisory experience
• Material Handling Equipment Certification plus Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
• Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team.

- Pay Range: - $17.14 - $37.24 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
