Precision Pump & Valve (PPV), an MCE Company, is seeking a mechanically skilled Valve Technician to service, repair, and remanufacture industrial valves, with VR-certified support for safety relief valves and control valves. Candidates should have a heavy-industrial background and be able to lift 50+ pounds.

The role includes field service at customer sites, as well as shop-based maintenance and documentation of test results and parts used.

Formación

• Experience servicing valves, pumps, or process control equipment.
• Familiarity with safety relief valves, control valves, regulators.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or heavy industrial settings.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• High mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds; work in shop environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, repair, testing, and remanufacturing of industrial valves.
• Re-machining and lapping of valve components to specs.
• Clean, blast, and paint valve components for service.
• Operate blasters, washers, torches, forklifts, and precision tools.
• Document test results, parts used, and work performed.
• Read measuring devices to verify tolerances.
• Perform field service at customer sites as needed.
• Collaborate with shop and service teams for turnarounds.
