Job summary

Midwest Valve Services, A Novaspect Company, is seeking a Repair Technician with emphasis in control valve and field services to join a fast-paced, customer-oriented team. The successful candidate will have strong industrial aptitude and a commitment to the company’s success.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing control valves, servicing mechanical and automated controls, and interfacing with customers on-site. Significant travel in the Midwest is expected, with possible after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Perform control valve diagnostics and repairs independently.
• Interface with customers to clarify service needs and provide status updates.
• Assist with training of lower-level technicians.
