Job summary

HANWHA Q CELLS USA INC. is seeking a Utility Technician in Dalton, GA to maintain and repair production equipment and building systems. You will inspect machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine upkeep to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires basic mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with the Utility Manager. Swing schedule and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine parts.
• 1+ years knowledge of mechanical maintenance and electrical process.
• Critical thinking to troubleshoot and detect malfunctions.
• Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination.
• Excellent time management and ability to follow through on orders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of machine and components using hoses, airguns, IPA, cloths, vacuum, and other tools.
• Disassemble machines and remove parts for replacement using chain falls, hand tools, and jacks.
• Identify defective parts and recommend repairs to supervisors.
• Replace, fix, or realign machine parts to production specs.
• Apply adhesives, lubricants, or materials in accordance with procedures.
• Reassemble machines after maintenance work.
• Remove hardened material using power and hand tools as needed.
• Follow Hanwha Q CELLS safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
• Have general knowledge of electrical components and motor control.
• Have general knowledge of HVAC and VRV systems.
