Job summary

Oil-Dri Corporation of America seeks a Utility Operator B to support packaging, processing, warehousing and plant aesthetics in an on-site facility in Mississippi. The role involves handling pallets, loading/unloading, operating front-end loaders and forklifts, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

The position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, follow SOPs and safety rules, and perform pre-operational checks.

Qualifications

Must pass basic computer skills assessment.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and act on product specifications, SOPs, PWI, AIQ processes, and similar documents.

Responsibilities

Performs packaging, processing or warehousing duties such as reclaiming damaged pallets, unloading/loading trucks, assisting with loading railcars, placing dunnage, etc.
Assists with changing screens, cleaning elevators, cleaning out pipes, etc.
Reclaims damaged pallets, stacking, baling, sewing, etc.
Operates equipment such as bobcat, front-end loader, sweeper, forklift and road sweeper to move debris, waste receptacles, pallets and other materials on the plant grounds.
Performs general clean-up using tools like shovels, brooms, mops, fire hoses and floor jacks.
Performs pre-operational equipment checks and monitors performance and gauges during operation.
Follows all safety rules and regulations.
Keeps all areas clean and free of clutter.
