Job summary

Industrial Oils Unlimited, LLC is seeking an Automated Equipment Operator to operate and troubleshoot automated packaging lines for agricultural products. You will monitor quality, perform changeovers, and document production data.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years in manufacturing, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand long periods, and pass background/drug screening; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and electrical machinery.
  • Good math and analytic skills.
  • 2–3 years in manufacturing/production.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Overtime requirements during seasonal work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Forklift operation is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and service automated packaging systems.
  • Perform routine diagnostics and repairs, including remote assistance when needed.
  • Complete production documentation and quality checks.
  • Monitor weights, seals, labels, and overall packaging quality.
  • Execute efficient changeovers on equipment and lines.
  • Collect samples to verify no cross contamination.
  • Utilize production software to maximize uptime and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Adhere to PPE and safety training.
  • Other duties as assigned.
