Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Utility Operations Specialist at its Starbase, TX facility. The role focuses on ownership of equipment performance, monitoring process parameters and maintaining components to pre-empt failures.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and calibrate compressors, control systems, and instrumentation, working with engineers and technicians to implement field designs and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology with 4+ years of automated process experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with 6+ years in control room, plant operations, mechanic/millwright support, or instrumentation/electrical operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment/process deviations and take corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate process equipment including compressors, control systems, and valves.
• Collaborate with engineers/technicians to implement field designs.
• Create operating procedures with engineers/technicians.
• Coordinate resources across disciplines to complete builds.
• Maintain a mature hardware inventory and procure critical spares.
• Learn and run standard operating procedures on machinery.

Education

Associate degree in engineering technology

High school diploma + 6+ years experience
