Job summary

JDI Industrial Services, the industrial maintenance division of J. Davis Inc., seeks experienced skilled trades contractors for projects across the Upstate SC and North Georgia.

You will perform electrical installation, welding, piping, and mechanical tasks, reading blueprints and adhering to safety procedures in fast-paced environments. Ideal candidates have prior industrial construction or electrical experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to travel locally to job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial construction, electrical work, welding, piping, pipefitting, or mechanical services.
• Knowledge of industrial tools, equipment, and construction practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment and meet physical requirements.
• Willingness to travel locally to project sites.
• Preferred: industrial electrical, welding, pipefitting, or mechanical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Complete welding, pipefitting, and industrial piping installation tasks.
• Assist with mechanical equipment installation, fabrication, and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications as required.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow project schedules, quality standards, and company safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, project managers, and other skilled trades professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Travel to industrial job sites throughout the Upstate of South Carolina as needed.
