Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Burner, Lancer, or in a similar role within a manufacturing or steel mill environment.
• Proficient in operating oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and high-pressure air lances.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate oxy-acetylene torches and plasma cutters to cut and shape steel products.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality standards.
• Use high-pressure air lances to clean slag and debris from steel surfaces.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
