TMS International in Wisconsin is seeking a Torch Operator / Burner. This role involves operating oxy-acetylene torches and plasma cutters to shape steel products, inspecting materials for quality, and adhering to safety protocols in a high-risk environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in cutting techniques with strong attention to safety. Medical and dental insurance is offered, along with paid time off and a 401K plan.

Competenze

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Burner, Lancer, or in a similar role within a manufacturing or steel mill environment.
• Proficient in operating oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and high-pressure air lances.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

Mansioni

• Operate oxy-acetylene torches and plasma cutters to cut and shape steel products.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality standards.
• Use high-pressure air lances to clean slag and debris from steel surfaces.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
