Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools seeks an Industrial Technology Teacher for a full-time high school role starting August 24, 2026. The position involves teaching multiple sections of Technology Education, including automotives, metals, robotics, video game design and woodshop, aligned with district curricula.

Applicants must hold a current MN Teaching License in Communications Technology Careers, Technology Careers, Transportation Careers, Manufacturing Careers, and Construction Careers.

Qualifications

  • Current MN teaching license covering Communications Technology Careers, Technology Careers, Transportation Careers, Manufacturing Careers, and Construction Careers.
  • Experience teaching Technology Education at the secondary level preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach multiple sections of Technology Education, including automotives, metals, robotics, video game design and woodshop.
  • Deliver Bloomington Public Schools secondary Technology Education curriculum and standards to students.
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate student work.

Required Licensure:

Current MN Teaching License: Communications Technolgy Careers, Technology Careers, Transportation Careers,Manufacturing Careers, and Construction Careers

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience teaching Technology Education at theSecondary Level preferred.

Responsibilities:

Teaching multiple sections of Technology Education toinclude automotives, metals, robotics, video game design and woodshop. Delivery of Bloomington Public Schoolssecondary Technology Education curriculum and standards to students, assessment, planning and delivery, and evaluation of student work.
