Frito-Lay North America, Inc. in Canton, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and install a range of mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced snack production facility.

Job Description

This is a full‑time entry‑level position that is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing valves, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems. The Maintenance Mechanics position is also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). The work you are assigned will vary from day to day depending on need.
Our entry-level Maintenance Mechanics will learn and develop a basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and to operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc® welders for repair, and fabrication.
