Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership

payments $23+/hr

Works with Industrialization Group members, Maintenance Technicians, Process Engineering, Process Technicians, and Production Associates to troubleshoot and improve automated and semi-automated production equipment. Oversees, installs, modifies, and relocates equipment for new production launch activities. Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum systems on all equipment. Develops equipment and production machines to meet future production requirements. Design and assemble test and automation equipment.

Industrial Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepares and tests new equipment
• Assists in designs and assembles automation equipment.
• Troubleshoots and improves existing production equipment.
• Conducts equipment training.
• Utilizes project management tools to determine scope of projects and track progress.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Technical School Diploma preferred. No degree? No problem. We invest in potential—qualified candidates may be eligible for tuition reimbursement while earning the relevant degree.
• Must manage multiple priorities and functions in a high pressure environment.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming languages: Ladder ; STL ; Diagram
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Experience in one or all of the following drawing/drafting programs: Autocad, UG, Solid works
• Demonstrates good troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrates computer skills, including proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Teams, MSExcel, and MSWord.
• Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends, and flexible schedule.
• Must contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to learn new software and skills as required.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
• Ability to learn computer programming functions.
• Good Math Skills (algebra or higher).
• Must demonstrate effective verbal communication skills and be a team-oriented person.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must travel occasionally as required.
• Professional-Level English language skills preferred
