AIMS Companies is currently searching for a talented Industrial- Tech I. AIMS has several openings for Laborers with experience.

Job Description:

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for keeping the equipment clean inside and out.
• Responsible for following company policies.
• Completing paperwork, forms, and records as needed.
• Ability to work around coal fired boilers and refineries on elevated platforms.
• Follow all company and OSHA mandated safety policies and procedures.
• Follow local and federal DOT Regulations while assisting in the operation of machinery and vehicles.
• Good communication with other employees and customers.
• Regular Attendance as part of a crew.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be okay working in various weather conditions including heat and snow.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend and twist at the waist, climb stairs, and walk without assistance.
• Must also be able to physically lift and carry objects up to 50lbs.
• Regular attendance is required. BEING ON-TIME IS A MUST!
• Travel is required. There will be jobs requiring out of town travel for multiple days at a time. Per Diem paid for all travel in addition to regular pay.
• All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be 18+ years old.
• A pre-employment drug test and background check is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Above-average customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision making ability.
• Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.

Working Conditions:

This position may require exposure to various weather conditions (i.e heat, rain, snow). Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend and twist at the waist, climb stairs, and walk without assistance.

Travel:

Travel for this position is expected to be less than 50% per year. Overnight/multiple night travel may be required, including out-of-state travel. Per diem will be paid in addition to regular or overtime pay for travel.

If you are unable to travel, you should communicate that restriction, in writing, to the Hiring Manager and ask for an exception. Exceptions are not guaranteed and will not be honored unless in writing and signed by both the Applicant and the Hiring Manager.
