Lamar University is seeking an Instructor in Industrial & Systems Engineering to provide high-quality undergraduate instruction in IE and BSIT courses within the Dr. Victor Zaloom Department of Industrial Engineering.

The nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment emphasizes teaching, curriculum development, and student engagement, with responsibilities across instruction, recruitment, and service. The role requires the ability to teach both face-to-face and online courses, maintain a 4/4 teaching

Formación

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, engineering management, or a closely related field.
• Ability to teach undergraduate courses in industrial engineering and industrial technology.
• Ability to deliver effective instruction in face-to-face and online learning environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and academic administrators.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality instruction in undergraduate industrial engineering and BSIT courses, both in person and online.
• Support student recruitment and outreach to grow BSIT enrollment.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation support, and service activities.

Educación

Master’s degree in industrial engineering or engineering management
