Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. seeks an Industrial IT Systems Administrator / Field IT Support Specialist to manage on-site IT, networking, and control system support across job sites.

You’ll monitor tickets, assure reliable internet via Fiber and Starlink, support PLC-based controls, and collaborate with field teams to maintain high-availability IT operations. The role requires hands-on PC support, networking setup, and strong communication.

Qualificações

• Familiarity with Internet connectivity technologies such as Fiber Optic and Starlink.

• Facilitate internet connectivity for new office locations, including setup of routers, firewalls, and initial network configurations to ensure quick and secure onboarding.
• Offer general PC support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ensure reliable Internet connectivity using technologies such as Fiber Optic and Starlink.
• Collaborate with field staff, control system engineers, SCADA teams, and management to address IT-related concerns, ensure seamless connectivity, and provide solutions.
• Troubleshoot system integration issues and maintain high data availability.
• Maintain and update documentation related to IT infrastructure, system architecture, configurations, and workflows.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of IT systems.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of new IT equipment and systems.
• Provide training and support to field staff and operations personnel on IT-related topics and new monitoring tools as needed.
• Ensure data reliability, redundancy, and security in system design.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Industrial IT Systems Administrator / Field IT Support Specialist to support field operations by providing on-site IT, networking, and control system support.
