Job summary
Audubon Companies in Houston, TX is seeking a Structural Engineer to design steel and concrete structures for industrial facilities, including pipe racks, equipment foundations, and support structures. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE or progress toward licensure a plus.
- 4–8 years of structural design experience in industrial or energy projects.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, RISA, SAP2000) and strong knowledge of steel and concrete design codes.
- Experience with foundation design, including vibrating equipment foundations.
Responsibilities
- Design steel structures, pipe racks, platforms, and equipment foundations.
- Perform structural analysis using STAAD.Pro, RISA, or similar software.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, and civil disciplines on loads and interfaces.
- Review shop drawings and respond to construction queries.
- Ensure designs comply with AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, and project standards.
