Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking an Entry to Mid-Level Structural Engineer to support industrial projects in Omaha, NE. The role covers analysis, design, and field assessments, with coordination across civil, mechanical, and electrical teams.

The ideal candidate will perform calculations, develop drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards. A PE license or advanced degree is preferred as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience performing structural calculations and analysis for various loading conditions.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and their application to industrial facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, engineering calculations, and design for various structural systems and loading conditions.
• Prepare structural drawings, details, specifications, and other engineering documentation for steel, concrete, and other structural materials.
• Conduct site visits and assess existing structures, identifying deficiencies and developing recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or new construction.
• Coordinate structural design activities with civil, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Review contractor submittals, respond to field inquiries, and provide construction support as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
• Support project schedules, budgets, quality requirements, and overall project objectives.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
