Birch East Corp. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for industrial equipment. You will integrate software with hardware systems and collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure robust performance.

The role requires hands-on coding, debugging, and code reviews in a team environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software development, strong C++, Java, or Python skills, and familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
5+ years of software development experience with C++, Java, or Python.
Experience with industrial automation software.
Knowledge of hardware–software integration is a plus.
