As a Forklift Operator with a strong emphasis on safety, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to supply and retrieve pallets or materials from various departments within the plant. Your role involves making decisions to optimize material movement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the plant operations. Additionally, you may be required to perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating and replacing liquefied-gas tanks on the forklift.
The role involves working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Work requires operator to sit for long periods of time. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures may occur. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required. Experience 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.
