Job summary

Valero is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator to load ethanol and distiller’s grains, and to operate related heavy equipment on-site. You will handle truck and railcar movement, create documentation, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the plant site.

This 11-hour rotating day shift role supports Valero’s safety, quality, and production goals. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to work on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with on-site loading operations is preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load ethanol into trucks and railcars and distiller’s grains into trucks/railcars.
• Operate meters, weighers, and scales to support product loading.
• Create tickets and paperwork for drivers.
• Move railcars and plant equipment to facilitate loading.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping during shifts.
