Job summary

Tb-Arhaus-LL is seeking a temporary sewing associate in North Carolina to support production backlog. You will sew fabric and leather cushions and flat-work pieces according to production specifications, operate an electric sewing machine, and read production tickets to guide work.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sewing experience in a manufacturing environment, can read a ruler accurately, and can work independently with a detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ sewing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and use a ruler accurately.
• Ability to thread and operate industrial sewing machines.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to sit for up to 4 hours.
• Dependable, positive, and team‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Sew fabric and leather cushions and flat‑work pieces according to production specifications.
• Operate an electric sewing machine, guiding materials accurately through the needle.
• Follow all established sewing standards, including producing straight, uniform stitches, no skipped stitches, and meeting specifications.
• Read and understand production tickets and basic sewing instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
