Job DescriptionJob Description

We seek a flatlock/flatseam production-ready sewing machine operator to join our apparel production team. This will be a part-time contract position, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position. You will join our small manufacturing team and make premium apparel using high-end industrial sewing machines. You will gain experience with all machines and contribute to the development of our internal manufacturing processes. You can expect to create small-batch productions using premium wool fabric: Men's and Women's Baselayers (Pants and Shirts), Boxers, and Underwear.

  • Additional responsibilities may include: Pressing, labeling, folding, and packaging apparel - You will work across all functions.

Qualifications

  • +3 years of sewing experience in an apparel manufacturing facility.
  • Able to pass a sewing test and background check – Before an offer
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with minimal supervision, and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
  • Able to read and understand a tech pack and sewing instructions.
  • Lift and pull in excess of 40 pounds. Able to bend, kneel, balance, climb, stoop, and crouch regularly to adjust settings on machinery and move materials and tools as needed
  • Ability to operate the following sewing machines: flat seamer (flatlock), single needle, serger/overlock, cover stitch, and bar tack.
