Job summary

K+S Services, a SunSource company, is hiring at our Taylor, Michigan facility for a repair parts technician. You will disassemble, clean, inspect, evaluate, assemble and test repair parts to ensure quality before shipment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience, can read assembly drawings, are detail oriented, and communicate effectively both written and verbal. On-the-job training is provided; salary and benefits reflect experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ work experience preferred.
• Read and follow assembly drawings.
• Detail oriented and precise.
• Familiarity with industrial control languages is a plus.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• No lifting restrictions; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, evaluation, final assembly and final testing of repair parts.
• Prepare failure analysis report for each component assembly; test report after final testing.
• Align feedback devices as applicable.
• Prep and paint completed repairs prior to shipment.
