Tri-State Overhead Crane is expanding our customer base and entering new markets, and we are seeking a skilled service technician to join our team in the Omaha area. Headquartered in St. Louis, with service locations mainly in the Midwest, we serve customers coast to coast. Our team consists of 110 employees, providing a balance between a small and large corporate environment. We uniquely design, build, install, inspect, service, and repair overhead cranes, covering their entire life cycle.

As a Service Technician, you will perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics and execute repairs onsite at customer locations. Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists, and drives; conducting scheduled preventive maintenance; and performing comprehensive quality inspections of overhead industrial cranes and hoists. You should be able to interpret work instructions, manuals, schematics, and fabrication drawings.
Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience as a technician or mechanic in an industrial setting working with equipment. Experience with overhead cranes is a plus and will enable you to start immediately. The role may require working independently or collaborating with other technicians. This is a physically demanding job, involving prolonged standing and repetitive tasks. You will frequently walk, climb, kneel, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and use ladders or lifts. You may need to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The work environment may expose you to heat, cold, noise, and heights. Proper PPE is required at all times.
