Job Summary: This position is responsible for creating a secure environment to facilitate the successful development and execution of classified programs at the assigned organization where classified information is stored, accessed, or where accessed personnel are assigned. This position reports directly to the Industrial Security Manager of Personnel Security (PERSEC) and provides PERSEC services in support of Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. The Industrial Security Specialist - Personnel Security - will be joining a team-oriented staff, focused on collaborating and sharing experiences, to create streamlined processes that provide optimal support to internal and external customers. The Industrial Security Specialist will enforce strict adherence to applicable laws as well as national DoD, and other security policies and requirements. Coordination of classified matters with the respective government representatives will be at the forefront of their responsibilities. The Industrial Security Specialist will be charged with the establishment of quality training for assigned accessed personnel and conduct and document annual compliance inspections and develop Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
