Job summary

Akima, LLC is seeking a Security Administrator in North Charleston, SC. The role involves administering security programs, developing policies, and coordinating with government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, an active DoD Secret clearance, and at least 2 years of Industrial Security experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM.

Qualifications

• An active DoD Secret clearance or interim Secret is required for consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of Industrial Security experience.
• Ability to walk around the facility, stand for up to 30 minutes, and lift up to 40-lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security procedures and policies in coordination with government agencies.
• Participate in the development of security education programs.
• Maintain the master access control list and issue badges for personnel.
• Coordinate with Facility Security Officer for related matters.
• Document security violations and concerns.
• Monitor security cameras during working hours.
• Respond to alarms and unlock/lock the building.
• Identify approaches to improve facility security.
