Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or 6 years related experience in the labor category.
• SFPC certification counts toward 3 years of experience.
• SPSC certification counts toward 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of ICD 705 and SCIF/IC security requirements is expected.
• Top Secret clearance is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Draft DD-254s for prime or subcontracts and update existing DD-254s.
• Staff draft DD-254s for Government security signature.
• Maintain supporting documentation for each DD-254 on file.
• Validate contractor facility clearances and storage levels.
• Coordinate with PERSEC to verify DD-254 status before SAP access.
• Prepare and coordinate National Interest Determinations (NIDs).
• Provide guidance on the DD-254 process and disseminate policy updates.
• Create, update, and maintain the DD-254 database of record.
• Develop and maintain SAP addendums for classified DD-254s.
• Provide monthly report summaries for submitted DD-254s and document delays >30 days.
• Produce summaries of trends in DD-254 approval coordination.

Security Specialist – Industrial – DD254 Specialist, Mid-level:System High Corporation delivers the most advanced protection and secrecy solutions to secure and strengthen critical missions, programs, operations, and intelligence activities. We are seeking an Industrial Security Professional to join our team to help contribute to our success and help us solve problems with innovation through intelligence.Security Operations Support, the contractor shall provide technical security support for the Security IPT in managing, drafting, updating, reviewing, and maintaining all DoD DD Form 254’s. The contractor shall assist the Government in interpreting any changes to industrial security policy and make implementation recommendations. The contractor shall coordinate and oversee all industrial security activities in support of the F-35 JPO located in Arlington, VA.Performance Shall Include:Draft DD-254s for prime contractors and/or subcontractors and update/revise existing DD-254s as changes occur. Staff draft DD-254s for Government security signature. Documentation shall be accurate and digitally available at all times.Maintain all appropriate supporting documentation for each DD-254 on file.Validate each contractor’s facility clearance and storage level.Coordinate with F-35 JPO Personnel Security (PERSEC) team to validate the DD-254 status for all contract personnel prior to processing for SAP access.Prepare and coordinate National Interest Determinations (NIDs).Provide guidance on the DD-254 process. Ensure that all updates to policy and guidance are disseminated.Create, update, and maintain the DD-254 database of record.Develop and maintain the SAP Addendums required for classified DD-254s.Provide written monthly report summaries for all DD 254s that have been submitted to the JPO Industrial Security office. In the case of possible DD-254 approval delay(s), greater than 30 days, the contractor shall document the reason(s) for the delay(s) for the JPO Industrial Security office. Shall provide summary reports to JPO Security documenting key trends with DD-254 approval coordination.Possess thorough knowledge of NISPOM, DSS, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), DODM 5205.7 Vol 1-4, and JAFAN series security requirements.Possess knowledge of the DoD acquisition process.Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in the stated discipline or 6 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree plus 4 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements).Department of Defense Clearance:Top SecretAdditional InformationThis job description is not designed to cover or contain all job duties required of the employee.
