Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Senior Associate, Industrial Security to oversee personnel security and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

The role requires familiarity with DISS, NISS, and related security databases, and entails coordinating with DoD and internal teams. The incumbent will manage PERSEC records, process clearances, conduct audits, and implement security policies while maintaining PII protection and adherence to government standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform program security administrative tasks and duties.
• Assist personnel security team to process clearances.
• Maintain PERSEC records for Collateral and SCI programs using DISS, SWFT, and SIMS.
• Complete actions in SIMS and DISS for data entry and management.
• Develop and implement personnel security policies per federal guidelines.
• Conduct reviews and audits of security files for compliance.
• Provide training on security clearance processes and best practices.
• Liaise with DoD and other agencies to resolve clearance issues.
• Assist with reinvestigations and incident reporting in DISS.
• Advise on risk assessments and adjudication for clearances.
• Stay updated on changes in clearance regulations and NISS/DISS tech.
• Protect PII and comply with privacy laws.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM regulations.
• Process and audit all classified material on site.
• Investigate security violations.
• Perform other duties assigned by FSO.
