Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to support the APG facility, handling security actions and on-site facilities coordination.

You will lead contracts security support, ensure compliance with DCSA standards, and coordinate with stakeholders for program execution. Active Secret clearance is required, with potential upgrade to TS/SCI, plus experience with DISS/SIMS/SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and ICDs.
• DCSA Security Training through CDSE/STEPP.
• Knowledge of personnel security processes including clearance processing, onboarding, and reinvestigations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Safeguard classified information and follow secure handling, storage, and transmission procedures.
• Experience using DISS, SIMS, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Industrial Security Specialist to join our team!

In this role you will get to serve the APG facility as security support for all contracts and personnel as well as functioning as the on-site facilities support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performing Personnel Security actions for all personnel supported by the APG facility, to include clearance processing, incoming/outgoing visit requests, and access briefs.
• Provide as the lead security support for all contracts awarded and performed out of the APG facility.
• Assist in the management of a fully compliant security program to meet DCSA inspection standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders of the business to plan and coordinate program execution.
• Serve as the main POC for all security reporting actions for the facility.
• Support visitor control functions such as escorting, access control, and alarm management
• You will be the main on-site facilities coordinator.
• Liaison with the landlord and serve as their POC for all facilities projects.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to upgraded to TS/SCI upon hire
• Working knowledge and experience in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
• Completion of DCSA Security Training Courses through CDSE/STEPP.
• Understanding of personnel security processes, including clearance processing, onboarding, and reinvestigations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to safeguard classified information and ensure compliance with secure handling, storage, and transmission procedures.
• Experience using DISS, SIMS, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Suite technologies.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Completion of the FSO management course through DCSA
• Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), SEADs, ICDs, and personnel security processes.
