Basic Qualifications

― Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals.

― Basic understanding of shipping and receiving classified hardware.

― Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

― Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.

― Final Top Secret security clearance and a background investigation performed within the last five years.

Job Description

Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking an Industrial Security professional / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join the security team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will perform program security duties supporting multiple special access programs.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Security Representative you will perform duties as the Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) for multiple complex and growing programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of security to include personnel, physical, technical, subcontractor management, classification management, inspection readiness, OPSEC requirements, and partnering with program management.
  • Developing creative security solutions to meet mission requirements while ensuring compliance with our customers’ expectations and applicable security policies and directives
  • Be the primary security interface with all levels of associated program personnel at Lockheed Martin as well as customer and subcontractor sites..

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $57,400 - $101,200. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
