Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an Industrial Security Manager / COMSEC Manager for the Salt Lake City facility. You will implement and manage NSA/NISPOM requirements, oversee COMSEC inventories, and lead security initiatives with minimal supervision.

This role demands strong project management and security program experience. Required are a TS clearance and extensive COMSEC experience; preferred are security management degrees and DIAS/SKL familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related Industrial Security / COMSEC experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance is required; adjudicated and current Continuous Evaluation date.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain COMSEC inventories and records for secure equipment and classified materials.
• Oversee secure receipt, control, storage, distribution, and destruction of COMSEC materials and hardware.
• Ensure required COMSEC safeguards are in place and adhered to.
• Train personnel on COMSEC procedures and handling protocols.
• Manage COMSEC inventories, self-inspections, and preparation for external government audits.
• Manage COMSEC storage areas.
• Identify, investigate, manage and report COMSEC incidents, compromises, or violations.
• Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence practices.
