An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Contractor Special Security Officer to support its industrial security programs. The candidate must have relevant experience supporting industrial security programs. Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions amid ambiguity, and meet deadlines. The successful candidate must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Must possess the ability to travel to the Annapolis Junction site (15-20% of time) and respond on-site to occasional after-hours alarms.
Supports a fast-paced environment; creates, maintains and leverages working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.
Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00 Salary Range 2: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
