Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst – Level 3 or 4 in Linthicum, MD, for 100% onsite work. Active Top Secret clearance with SAP/SCI eligibility is required, and up to 10% travel is possible. Relocation assistance is not provided.

The role covers SCIF/SAPF administration, PERSEC, COMSEC, OPSEC, and Security Education, with audits, policy interpretation, and liaison duties across multiple government frameworks. A strong background in DoD security requirements is essential.

Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Government Top‑Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SAP/SCI before onboarding.
  • Experience with CFR 32 Part 117 (NISPOM), JAFAN, DoDM 5205.07, ICD, DoD Manuals, and related security requirements.
  • Experience with desktop computers and Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail‑oriented with meticulous record‑keeping and data input into multiple databases.

  • Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions, including SCIF and/or SAPF administration, PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, OPSEC, Contract Security, Security Education, Investigations, Visitor Control, and Document Control Management.
  • Develop and implement a security education and awareness program.
  • Conduct internal security audits.
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with the Security Statements of Work, DD Form 254, and DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance.
  • Assist program managers and staff in interpreting, applying, and complying with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).
  • Provide PERSEC support, including reviewing and processing required documentation for SCI and SAP nomination processes, maintaining PERSEC databases, and administering program indoctrination and debriefings.
  • Provide facility security administration, documentation, and support: implement SOPs; conduct SCI and SAP security program self‑inspections.
  • Provide security support for SCIF and SAPF build construction projects, including obtaining customer accreditation per SCI and SAP DoD Manuals, ICD, IC Spec, and other government requirements.
  • Manage and maintain UL‑2050 compliant IDS and automated Access Control Systems (ACS).
  • Perform the duties of a Top‑Secret Control Officer (TSCO) as required and maintain accountability of classified materials.

  • Active U.S. Government Top‑Secret clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP and/or SCI clearance approval prior to onboarding.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with CFR 32 Part 117 (NISPOM), JAFAN, DoDM 5205.07, ICD, DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements.
  • Experience with desktop computers and Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail‑oriented, meticulous record‑keeping, and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
Basic Qualifications – Level 4
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience OR Ph.D. with 4 years of professional experience. Additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active U.S. Government Top‑Secret clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP and/or SCI clearance approval prior to onboarding.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with CFR 32 Part 117 (NISPOM), JAFAN, DoDM 5205.07, ICD, DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements.
  • Experience with desktop computers and Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience within a SCIF or SAPF (DCID 6/4 or ICD 704 eligibility in DISS).

  • Experience with SIMS and/or Government Security Databases (JADE).
  • Curiosity about developments in the Northrop Grumman Space Sector.
