McGough uses critical path scheduling along with our Last Planner System to track and maintain progress.Qualifications:Required:Experience in construction phase of project lifecycleExperience working as part of a design-build contractorSkilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders, and project teams.Excellent communication skillsPreferred:1+ years of Construction Industry experience, including industrial constructionKnowledge with Lean construction practices, including pull planningExperience preparing project schedules using commercially available scheduling softwareProficiency in Primavera (P6) SoftwareAACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or equivalent preferredGood written and oral skillsSolid decision makingOffice and Travel:Potential to travel to project sites nationwide. (Minimal Travel Necessary)Responsibilities and Tasks:Understand and implement accepted Planning & Scheduling best practicesAnalyze drawings, specifications, and construction related documents in preparation and acceptance of usable Baseline schedules for constructionMonitor project schedules being developed and updated by Operations staff and provide support and guidance as necessaryInteract with the Operations team and represent McGough Construction in the best manner to owners, subcontractors, and their representativesUtilize analytics to identify and report on project trends and support with risk mitigationEffectively cost and manpower load schedules for use during the execution of the projectPrepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices by commonly accepted standardsAssist project teams to develop “what if” scenarios to explore alternate sequencing, document, mitigate or avoid schedule delaysDevelop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6Interact with project teams to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedulesCoordination with non-construction processes i.e. submittals, design and permitting progressWork with our Last Planner team and project teams to gather weekly work plans from subcontractors and update weekly work plansParticipate in weekly subcontractor meetings on various projectsEvaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areasParticipate in Lean events and support of the McGough wayResponsible for special projects and other departmental duties as necessaryPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role.
