Responsibilities

• Determines type of scaffold needed.
• Inspects job site and scaffold material for defects and hazards.
• Communicates safety hazards and mitigates risks.
• Transports tubular scaffold and erects scaffolding to required dimensions.
• Hoists scaffolding materials to erect temporary structures.
• Secures and levels locking sections of scaffold.
• Secures scaffold to permanent structures for stability.
• Adheres to OSHA and site requirements for erecting and navigation.
• Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Dismantles scaffolding when instructed; stores materials after dismantling.
