Job summary

Accenture in California is seeking a transformation leader for SAP development to drive design, build and testing of SAP custom development and extensibility on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core.

You will guide the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; lead code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops while mentoring global delivery teams. Travel may be required based on client needs and engagements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years SAP S/4HANA ABAP experience and ABAP Cloud.
Minimum of 3 years SAP BTP tools and services experience.
Minimum of 3 years data modeling with CDS AMDP OData or related.
3+ years SAP custom development with Fiori-first, Clean Core, RAP.
2+ years in technical leadership (code reviews, architecture sign-offs).
Experience with Industrial sector clients.
Consulting/advisory experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 12+ years' work experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design, build, and test SAP custom development on S/4HANA and BTP using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori.
Drive transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and API adoption.
Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews and architecture sign-offs.
Leverage Generative AI Hub/Joule Studio to guide development and mentor global teams; travel may be required (0–100%).
