Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice leads complex transformations using S/4HANA ABAP and BTP, with a focus on Clean Core and generative AI. You will guide architecture, mentor teams, and own design workshops across geographies.

Role requires 5+ years in SAP development, 2+ years in technical leadership, and willingness to travel. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, with consulting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
• Minimum of 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs, client workshops).
• Prior experience supporting the CMT industry/clients
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
• Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Business AI where applicable.
• Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
• Travel may be required for this role, from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
