Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Sanitation Worker for an immediate full-time, long-term opportunity in Swedesboro, NJ. The role focuses on thorough industrial sanitation and deep cleaning in a food manufacturing environment to keep production lines ready for the next day.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and equipment, deep cleaning production gear, safely entering machinery when not running, and following GMP/SOP/CGMP/HACCP guidelines. Onsite, contractual-to-hire, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Adherence to GMP, SOP, CGMP and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean production floors, equipment and surrounding areas for next day operations.
• Perform deep cleaning of all production equipment prior to daily production.
• Enter machinery safely to clean internal components when not running.
• Sanitize pipes and production lines to meet food manufacturing sanitation standards.
• Use heavy-duty industrial chemicals following safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Follow GMP, SOP, CGMP, HACCP guidelines during sanitation tasks.
• Ensure no cleaning while machines are running; follow lockout and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Collaborate with production staff to coordinate sanitation around production needs.
