Job summary

GHX Industrial in Houston, TX is launching the Grow Our Own (GO2) Industrial Sales Development Program for recent graduates. You will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship to transition into a full-time sales role in an assigned territory.

The 12- to 18-month program includes 60 days of training at GHX headquarters in Houston, followed by 10 months at the local GHX office, with relocation assistance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, or related field (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate for training and final placement.
• Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training at the GHX headquarters in Houston, TX for 60 days, and the remaining 10 months at the local GHX office.

What is GO2?

GO2 is our 12-to-18-month development program designed for recent graduates interested in a career in industrial sales. You will receive comprehensive training, hands on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full-time sales role in an assigned territory.

This position is for our GHX Industrial business. Training will occur in a GHX facility, likely in Houston. At completion of the training program, you will be transferred to your assigned sales territory. Relocation expenses will be provided.

What You Will Need

• Coursework, training or certifications in Fluid Power, Fluid Process, or Fluid Conveyance (preferred)
• Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Mechanical interest and aptitude
• Willingness to relocate for training and for final placement at completion of program
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachable and build relationships with peers and potential customers
• Competitive in nature with a passion for winning and a commitment to delivering top results in a performance-based environment
