Job summary

Rhoda AI is seeking a Solution Engineer to turn successful POCs into production deployments. You will translate customer requirements into production workflows, design work cells, and integrate Rhoda's robots and AI with customer environments—sensors, conveyors, PLCs, and MES.

You will lead FAT, commissioning, and SAT, and travel to customer sites as needed. Join a team that bridges engineering, product, deployment, and business to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Robotics Eng.
• 5+ years designing and deploying automation or robotic systems in manufacturing or logistics.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, industrial networking and protocols (OPC UA, Profinet, EtherNet/IP).
• Experience integrating with MES or plant-level systems.
• Strong work-cell design, machine safety standards, and risk assessment.
• Track record of FAT, commissioning and SAT.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Gather, define, and negotiate customer requirements for production, including throughput, uptime, safety, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct feasibility analysis (including simulation) and provide proposal review and feedback during the PO stage.
• Design production workflows and work cells, including layout, safety, material flow, and operator interaction.
• Lead system integration planning with the customer environment - sensors, conveyors, PLCs, MES, and other plant systems.
• Integrate Rhoda's AI model with task-related tooling and partner with Application Engineers on task engineering and strategy.
• Own the overall solution strategy and author workflow SOPs for production operations.
• Define solution requirements, shaping both product and site readiness ahead of the deployment.
• Measure and report system performance through FAT and SAT, and support on-site commissioning.
• Feed production learnings back to product and engineering to shape the roadmap.
