Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Rigger to assemble and rig equipment in industrial settings.

The role involves selecting appropriate rigging gear, attaching loads to cranes, and directing operators to ensure safe hoisting and movement of materials. Applicants must have a minimum of four years journeyman experience and hold NCCCO Rigger 1 & 2 or NCCER Advanced Gold Card, TWIC, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCCO Rigger 1 & 2 or NCCER Advanced Gold Card, TWIC Card, and a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Selects cables, ropes, pullup, winches, blocks and sheaves according to load size and weight.
• Attach pullup/blocks to fixed overhead structures.
• Perform bull rigging tasks and move loads horizontally while suspended.
• Assemble/disassemble cranes and rigs.
• Splice rope and wire cables for slings or tackle.
• Guide crane operators to ensure safe hoisting.
• Set up rigging equipment and maintain safety compliance.
• Observe safety rules and meet certifications.
