Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled Rigging Specialist to assemble rigging and move equipment within industrial settings in the United States. The role requires coordinating with crane operators and maintaining safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of journeyman rigging experience and hold NCCER Advanced Rigger or NCCCO Gold Card, along with a TWIC card and a valid driver's license. This is an On-site position with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Certifications required: NCCER Advanced Rigger or NCCCO Gold Card, TWIC card and Driver License.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Experience with rigging, hoisting equipment, and crane coordination.

Responsibilities

• Select cables, ropes, pullup, winches, blocks and sheaves based on load.
• Attach pullup and blocks to overhead structures.
• Assemble and disassemble cranes.
• Splice rope and wire cables to make/repair slings or tackle.
• Attach load with grappling devices to crane hook.
• Direct hoisting operations with hand signals/radios to ensure safety.
