Job summary

Ruiz Foods seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on refrigeration assets. You will diagnose issues, repair pumps and motors, and keep the maintenance shop organized and safe for a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires reading schematics and safety protocols, and adherence to USDA, QA, HACCP, and company policies. Evening shifts (2nd/3rd) are available with reliable attendance expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics and prints.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and predictive maintenance for refrigeration assets.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on pumps, motors, and electrical systems.
• Maintain the maintenance shop, keep it clean and organized at all times.
• Inspect equipment for potential problems and coordinate deviations in process.
• Adhere to safety policies (USDA, QA, HACCP, RETA, IIAR) and company rules.
