Coulter Services is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Specialist to operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration, boiler, and steam systems in a Harrisonburg, VA plant. You will monitor equipment, perform shift audits, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, data logging, and strict hazmat and safety procedures. You’ll work 24/7 in a high-demand industrial environment to support continuous production and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, boiler, and steam system operation.
Ability to conduct equipment monitoring, testing, and accurate recordkeeping.
Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort with basic electrical control work.

Responsibilities

Monitor refrigeration, boiler, and steam equipment and ensure safe, efficient operation.
Perform shift audits, collect and record key operating data, and document test results.
Test, treat, and manage boiler water chemistry to support system performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to operational abnormalities.
Assist with basic electrical control repairs and related maintenance tasks.
