Refrigeration Systems Construction and Service in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking experienced ammonia refrigeration service technicians. You will join a team of trade professionals who value workmanship and safety to keep critical systems operating reliably. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair ammonia systems in customer facilities across a Western U.S.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and safe work habits.
• Ability to work independently in the field while contributing to a team.
• Experience with compressors, controls, valves, motors, electrical troubleshooting, and system startups.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and participate in on-call service.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Diagnose issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, controls, VFDs, and related equipment
• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, and startup support
• Read and work from P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control drawings
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams
• Complete accurate field documentation and follow strong safety practices on every job
• Help customers reduce downtime, improve reliability, and keep refrigeration systems operating as they should

This role is forskilled industrial refrigeration professionals with real ammoniafield-service experience — technicians who can walk into an engineroom, troubleshoot the issue, communicate clearly with the customer,and help get critical systems operating safely and reliably again.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot,service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems

We use a tiered hourly payscale across RSCS and MRC for technician roles: Apprentice/Entry $20–$30 , Technician (Early-Career) $30–$40 , Journeyman (Mid-Level) $40–$50 , and Senior/Field Supervisor $50–$70 (top end reserved forhighest-level Senior Ammonia Technicians and Field Supervisors). Starting pay is based on verified experience,certifications, and job scope (including on-call/travel asapplicable) and may vary by location due to local market and cost ofliving; hiring managers set the final starting rate within theappropriate tier. We also offer a robust benefits package .
