Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Auburndale, FL is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician II to operate and maintain plant equipment including boilers, ammonia refrigeration, water treatment, air compressors, electrical systems, piping and hydraulics.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, leading maintenance tasks, and supporting Process Safety Management. 5 years industrial maintenance in ammonia/HVAC, CIRO within 6 months, and ability to work shifts and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED and pass plant employment exams.
• 5 years industrial plant maintenance experience in Anhydrous Ammonia and HVAC or refrigeration.
• CIRO (Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator) or higher within 6 months from date of hire.
• Experience with boilers, air compressors (up to 600 PSI), wastewater treatment, nano or RO filtration, electrical systems up to 460 V, piping and hydraulics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot plant ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Maintain boilers, condensate returns and steam distribution.
• Operate water treatment and nano/RO filtration systems.
• Maintain compressed air systems up to 600 psi.
• Operate HVAC, exhaust, and make-up air units and fire protection systems.
• Restore plant utilities after power outages and support PSM program.
