Luna Data Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Software Engineer to support and modernize real-time control systems in a steel manufacturing setting. The role blends software engineering, industrial automation, and hands-on plant support to improve uptime and production performance.

You will design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and VB.NET, work with PLCs/SCADA, and ensure robust data acquisition and database performance in a demanding environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years in software development and/or industrial systems, with manufacturing exposure.
• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, or scripting languages.
• Strong SQL database design, development, and management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and client/server network architectures.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial automation environments.
• Strong real-time systems troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Mansioni

• Monitor and maintain real-time control systems to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot operator-reported issues and resolve production-impacting problems.
• Design, develop, and maintain apps using C#, VB.NET, and scripting languages.
