Qualifications

Accountabilities & Authorities:

• Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework).
• Record inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required.
• Perform destructive & non-destructive examination when required and qualified.
• Maintain inspection records per component, assembly, and vehicle.
• Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies, and vehicles.
• Participate in customer joint inspections.
• Prepare approval and shipping documents.
• Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instruments used in the inspections.

Performance Measurements:

• Inspection method time adherence.
• Defect characterization.
• Management of rework.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

• Associates degree, technical major preferred.
• Must be able to read drawings/specifications and be familiar with a variety of test equipment.
• Qualified on special processes of his/her scope of work.

Desirable:

• Railway experience is a plus.

Experience

Mandatory:

• 4+ years quality inspection experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Awareness of processes and products delivered in the project.

Desirable:

• Experience in Quality/audit is appreciated.

Competencies & Skills

• Experience in operational activities, documentation management, collaboration, and team working.
