Actalent in Garland, TX is seeking a Quality Control Technician on 1st shift to test raw materials and finished products, document results, and support production leadership. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, computer proficiency, ability to lift up to 55 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and long periods of standing with safety in mind.

Overtime and rotating shifts are common. This contract-to-hire, fully onsite position offers $20.25–$22.25 per hour and eligible benefits for

Competenze

• Hands-on and mechanical inclination required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Industry experience in chemicals/manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Overtime and shift hours required.

• Prepare and perform test samples on raw materials and finished products.
• Identify and investigate abnormal test results, conducting root cause analysis.
• Prepare and record documents reporting lab results.
• Collaborate with local operations and production leadership teams.
