Job summary

P&E Constructors, a long-established, employee-owned mechanical and electrical construction firm, seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will perform inspections, document findings, and coordinate with production teams to uphold quality across materials, workmanship, and installed equipment.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of heavy industrial construction industry.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Quality Codes, Standards, and Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Completes and implements Site Specific Quality Plan and ensures deliverables are safe, high quality, and on time.
• Conducts thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure specifications.
• Inspects owner-supplied and purchased engineered equipment and instrumentation.
• Supports vendor and subcontractor back-charge process with inspections and records.
• Oversees project surveillance and documentation; maintains quality records.
• Collaborates with production teams to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
